Saints Martyrs of Lyon and Vienne

Αγίων Μαρτύρων της Λυών και της Βιέν

Pothinus, Blandine, Sanctus, Maturus, Alexander, Attalus, and others with them were martyred during the reign of Marcus Aurelius. After being accused of impiety by the magistrates of Lyon, and after enduring all manner of torture without renouncing their Christian faith, some were beheaded while others were thrown to the beasts in the amphitheater.
